C99: How it works

How it works :

C 99 changes surface tension of fuel molecules  (carbon chain type C6) in order to obtain a homogeneous distribution of the oxidant/fuel mixture resulting in better combustion, achieving a significant improvement in the operating parameters of thermal engines. The C 99 increases the speed of the air/fuel mixture. In all gears, hot and cold, the gas mixture is much more homogeneous and at the moment of ignition the combustion speed is ultra-fast. All your fuel will be transformed into energy and your money will stop going out of the exhaust. Remark: Technical anti-pollution control devices show a regular decrease of up to 4 times less in Hc and Co. The results are unbelievable, but that's how it is.

C99 and Adblue

Of course, you can use C99 with engines using adblue. With the C99 Diesel, the engine will emit less Nox and therefore consume less Adblue. The catalytic converter that uses adblue is at the end of the exhaust line, it uses adblue, depending on the amount of Nox. With the perfect combustion of Diesel with C 99, there will be less Nox and therefore less adblue consumption. Adblue, how does it work ? https://fr.greenchem-adblue.com/system-scr-fr/

C99 ethanol use kit or without kit

In the order of things C 99 Ethanol, a product of vegetable origin, which is mixed 100% with E85 and its petrol. Risks and disadvantages of E85 Highly corrosive for cleaning pipes and tanks. Attacks metal, due to the electrolytic torque associated with the mixture of condensation water and ethanol. Consumption + 20 to 25%. Loss of power and torque Increased engine wear due to oil dilution (oil changes every 10,000 km). Choose between installing a kit costing between 1,000 and 1,200 euros or driving on 75% E85 and 25% petrol. Increase in the selling price of E85 in 2021 Advantageous purchase price of 62 cents per litre. Less polluting vehicle. Why use C 99 ethanol It can be used with the kit or with 75% E85 and 25% E5. Consumption close to that of a petrol engine, the purchase of the Kit is not essential as the calculators manage the advance point and injection times up to 75% E85 and 25% petrol. It increases the efficiency of ethanol engines, improves combustion and ignition. Ethanol C 99 protects* the engine and hoses, homogenises the petrol/ethanol mixture and reduces the detergent effect of ethanol. *C 99 ethanol allows a very good distribution of the electrolytic torque and protects against preferential attacks linked to the presence of water in the ethanol. It facilitates cold and hot starts. Why use P 18 with an ethanol engine? Ethanol is very detergent, it will dilute the oil film on your cylinders, the engine will be less well lubricated, which will lead to frequent oil changes as the ethanol sinks into the engine oil. Vehicles using ethanol need even more oil changes than with P 18. Once every 5 refuellings with ethanol, use 10 litres of petrol with 50 ml of P 18 for an anti-wear shock treatment of the injectors and injection pump. P 18 Anti-wear treatment: Higher compression, even more essential with E 85.

C99 and Ad Blue?

Yes, you can use C99 in your vehicle, antifouling and fuel saving. With C99 diesel, the engine will emit less Nox and therefore save around 30% Adblue. The catalytic converter that uses the adblue is at the end of the exhaust line, it uses the adblue according to the amount of Nox. With the perfect combustion of diesel with C 99, there will be less Nox and therefore less adblue consumption. Adblue, how does it work?

You must wait until the end of shooting before applying P 18.

It is a very powerful anti-friction and anti-wear agent.

Therefore, you must be patient, otherwise the engine will take longer to release.

P18 automatic gearbox oil change

Automatic gearbox oil change It is very important to change the oil (gearbox and converter) every 60,000 km.

If the gearbox has already been used for 100,000 km or more and has never been drained, it should be flushed with oil beforehand in order to remove the filings caused by the friction of the pinions and disc wear.

Then add 2% P 18 to the new oil.

Limited slip bridge.

Only in limited-slip disc mouldings, which is most of the time (motorbike clutch type). 2% of P18, relative to oil volume

P18: oil-immersed timing belts

P18 deals exclusively with metal surface treatment (metal/metal), it only adheres to metal surfaces subject to friction.
P18 is not a detergent, there is no risk for seals and belts.
It is compatible with new vehicles whose timing belt is oil bathed.
Oil-soaked timing belts are often the cause of engine failure.
Some of them will eventually fray and clog the screen, causing a significant loss of lubrication, even in newer vehicles.
Many professionals go so far as to clean the strainer during oil changes.
The P 18 takes the concept of engine protection systems a step further and is essential in preserving and extending engine life.
It is also important to be vigilant in maintaining the frequency of oil changes.

P18 on the chain and cardan shaft of the motorbike

The motorbike chain: Mix 50 ml of P 18 with 50 ml of chainsaw oil in a 100 ml measuring cup.
Do a treatment every 500 km and you will multiply the life of your chain kit by 3 or 4.

Cardan shaft or transmission: Add 4 % P18 to the cardan or transmission oil of the motorbike.
You can use Mecarun P 18 at 4% of the volume of the oil in your 4-stroke motorbike without any risk of clutch slippage.
Add 100 to 150 ml of P 18 to the engine oil, depending on the volume.

Add P18 between 2 oil changes

Yes, P 18 can be added up to half the mileage between oil changes.

What is P18?

P 18 is not an oil additive, it is an anti-friction treatment for the metal surface.
It can therefore be used with all oils.
Without going into further technical details, there is no chlorine, no Ptfe, no molybdenum, etc. in P18 ...

https://ww.mecarun.es/P18/

How to decarbonize the EGR valve

1 – Obtain a bottle of Mecarun Eco 10,000 - 250 ml and another of C 99 - 250 ml that treats 1,000 liters of diesel.
2 – Decarbonization of the EGR valve on the road: Pour an Eco 10,000 250 ml + 5 ml of C99 into the tank (containing 20 to 25 liters of diesel).
Drive, trying to maintain 2,500/3,000 rpm in all gears, without reaching the last (except at low speed), until you reach the reserve
The EGR valve closes around 2700 rpm, depending on the brand and whether it is in the last gear. For this reason, the EGR valve must be in open mode to take advantage of the decarbonization process.
It is also advisable to clean the air intake system, in order to maintain the correct air/fuel ratio (1 g of fuel per 15 g of air)., Mecarun's AIC intake cleaner
Do the next 3 fills with a double dose of C 99.
A diesel vehicle must not be driven at an engine speed (less than 1800 rpm) outside of maneuvering speed because the exhaust gas temperature is too low = dirty
"Urban driving at low speed, traffic jams, short trips" doubles the dose of C 99.
Very important: Air and diesel filters must be clean, a faulty glow plug is also a cause of poor combustion.
Do not drive at less than revolutions anymore.
If you have to be in 3rd to drive at 2000rpm at 50km/hour, drive in 3rd, you will consume less and get stuck less.

Engine Flush

Engine Flush: Instructions for use

Engine Flush for diesel or petrol engines:

- Pour the contents of the 500 ml bottle into the used engine oil sump just before the oil change.
- Start the engine and let it idle for 10 minutes, without moving the vehicle. - Next, drain the oil and replace the filter. - Pour the contents of a P 18 - 250 ml bottle into the crankcase inlet port and then top up with new oil.
- Then start the engine
Engine Flush for manual gearboxes
- Add 10% Engine Flush, relative to the volume of oil (drain the equivalent amount beforehand to leave space).
- Drive 50 to 100 kms (can be in several stages or days).
- Once the gearbox has been cleaned, empty it and let it drain while it is still warm.
- Pour 6% P 18 (recommended) into the gearbox, before adding new oil.

Engine Flush on petrol engine at over 200,000 kms

Be more cautious with petrol vehicles with more than 200,000 kms.
If the vehicle is in good condition and hardly consumes any oil, Engine Flush can still be used.
But if the engine is worn out, reaching the end of its useful life and engine dirt is the only thing maintaining compression, the Engine Flush is what will clean it up and make the engine failure evident.

Engine Flush in automatic transmissions

We do not recommend the use of Engine Flush for cleaning DSG and other automatic gearboxes because the electronic sensors and valve solenoids are soaked in oil.

It is however recommended to add 2% P 18 to the automatic gearbox oil.

Motor Flush With or without pre-rinse?

For a gravity oil change, it is not necessary to flush the engine before pouring in the P 18 and the new oil.
Rinse with neutral oil:
Only for boat engines with suction drainage.
The same applies to motorbike engines or dry sump engines.

Particulate filters

FAP "Particulate filter on the road".

1 - Get a 250 ml bottle of Eco 10,000 and a 250 ml bottle of C 99 that treats 1,000 litres of diesel.
2 – On-road cleaning of the FAP or DPF (particulate filter) without disassembly
Pour one Eco 10,000 250 ml into the tank (it should contain no more than 25 to 30 litres) of diesel + 5 ml of C 99.
Try to drive the vehicle on highways or 4-lane roads at more than 100 km/h and at 2,500/3,000 rpm until you reach the reserve to make the FAP failure disappear.
The aim is not only to turn off the "clogged FAP" indicator light, but also to decarbonise the FAP, clean the DPF to save fuel and minimise fuel regeneration (the engine does this with fuel (= more waste).
After this operation, you should remove the fault code with a fault code scanner or have it removed by a professional.
Very important: Air and fuel filters must be clean. A defective glow plug can also cause poor combustion.

How does an FAP or DPF work?

How does an FAP or DPF work?

The function of the particulate filter is to filter out fine soot or carbon particles contained in engine exhaust gases and thus reduce pollution.

 The role of filtration.

The filter captures soot or carbon particles resulting from imperfect combustion, short journeys, driving at too low engine speeds or driving at too high engine speeds.
This leads to carbon build-up in the FAP or DPF, which causes a drop in engine performance, increased fuel consumption and more frequent regenerations.
This layer of carbon deposits can clog the FAP.

Regeneration

Regeneration consists of sending the diesel together with the exhaust gases to the FAP to induce a combustion that raises the temperature to melt and drip the soot or carbon (similar effect to what happens in an uncleaned chimney).

Mecarun Eco 10000 Diesel By mixing it with diesel, a better combustion, less carbon and better gas temperature is achieved, which favours the FAP.

The Eco 10,000 is the finishing touch that removes stubborn carbon deposits and reduces the frequency of regeneration.

How to help prevent clogging of the particulate filter

Very simple: Add Mecarun C 99 to each fill.

EGR bath

How to decarbonise the EGR valve

1 - Get a bottle of Mecarun Eco 10,000 - 250 ml and a bottle of C 99 - 250 ml which treats 1,000 litres of diesel.
2 – Decarbonisation of the EGR valve on the road: Pour one Eco 10.000 250 ml + 5 ml of C99 into the tank (containing 20 to 25 litres of diesel).
Drive, trying to maintain 2,500/3,000 rpm in all gears, without reaching the last gear (except at low speed), until you reach the reserve.
The EGR valve closes at around 2700 rpm, depending on the make and whether it is in final gear, which is why the EGR valve must be in open mode to take advantage of the decarbonisation process.
It is advisable to take advantage of the operation and also clean the air intake system with AIC Intake Cleaner, in order to maintain the correct air/fuel ratio (1 g of fuel to 15 g of air).
It is advisable to apply double doses of C99 to the next 3 fuel fills.
to maintain the correct exhaust gas temperature, the diesel engine should not drop below 1,500 rpm while driving on the road, in order to avoid carbon build-up.
In case of driving on street circuits or at low speed, it is advisable to use double the dosage of C99. Very important: Air and fuel filters must be clean. A defective spark plug is also a cause of poor combustion. Do not drive below 1,500 revolutions any more.

Relief injectors and injection pumps

Cleaning and degreasing of injectors and injection pump.

Cleaning and degreasing of injectors and injection pumps.
Decarbonisation of the combustion chamber.

1 - Pour 250 ml of Eco 10.000 Diesel into the tank, with no more than 25 litres of fuel. With 50 litres, 500 ml of C99 will be poured in. Then drive normally. Shock treatment
Clogged injector and pump.
Mix 250 ml of Eco 10000 D with 750 ml of diesel in a container.
Directly feed the injection pump with the mixture. The return of the pump must of course go into a container.
Start the engine and run it at 1500 rpm.
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSGrLPkv5rA&t=18s
Then add 100 ml of P 18 (after treatment) for every 20 litres of diesel in the tank.
C 99 Diesel
Use Mécarun C 99 Diesel every time you fill up. This will prevent carbon build-up in the engine, as well as sludge and bacteria in the tank. It will save fuel.
Suggestion: Drive the vehicle to a motorway or expressway and drive at 2500/3000 km for 70/80 km for effective treatment.
